Project Title:
The Relationship Between Spatial Thinking Skills and Object Interaction in Virtual and Augmented Realities: A Research-Based Educational Game Design Study for Low-SES Children

Job Description:
The selected research assistant will support data collection and data analysis for a project focused on gesture-based object interaction in Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) technologies, specifically related to spatial thinking skills in children.

Time Period:
December 2024 – December 2027

Position & Monthly Salary: (3 vacancies available)

  • Ph.D. Student: 27,500₺

  • Master’s Student: 19,000₺

  • Undergraduate Student: 5,250₺

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be enrolled in or have graduated from Psychology, Communication Design, Game Design, or related fields

  • Native Turkish speaker with proficiency in English

  • Not currently employed

  • Basic knowledge of SPSS and Jamovi

  • Basic knowledge of Unity

  • No travel restrictions

Benefits:

  • Training in designing spatial tasks using Unity

  • Experience in interdisciplinary research

  • Expertise in gesture analysis

  • Development of communication and time management skills

  • Academic visibility through publishing and presenting research output in international venues
