Project Title:
The Relationship Between Spatial Thinking Skills and Object Interaction in Virtual and Augmented Realities: A Research-Based Educational Game Design Study for Low-SES Children
Job Description:
The selected research assistant will support data collection and data analysis for a project focused on gesture-based object interaction in Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) technologies, specifically related to spatial thinking skills in children.
Time Period:
December 2024 – December 2027
Position & Monthly Salary: (3 vacancies available)
Ph.D. Student: 27,500₺
Master’s Student: 19,000₺
Undergraduate Student: 5,250₺
Eligibility Criteria:
Must be enrolled in or have graduated from Psychology, Communication Design, Game Design, or related fields
Native Turkish speaker with proficiency in English
Not currently employed
Basic knowledge of SPSS and Jamovi
Basic knowledge of Unity
No travel restrictions
Benefits:
Training in designing spatial tasks using Unity
Experience in interdisciplinary research
Expertise in gesture analysis
Development of communication and time management skills
Academic visibility through publishing and presenting research output in international venues
