Mehmed Nihad Özkaya completed his undergraduate studies in Psychology at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University and then pursued a master’s degree in Game Design at Bahçeşehir University. Currently, he works as a game designer and product manager at Mayadem Technology, where he designs educational games and applications for children. Özkaya is continuing his academic education in the PhD program in Design, Technology, and Society at Özyeğin University. His research passion is on school systems, education, and gamification. He has participated in numerous voluntary projects and has contributed to academic work. Additionally, he has worked as a part-time instructor at Hasan Kalyoncu University, offering courses including Digital Game Design, Game and Culture, and Fundamentals of Game Design.
